In this special May gathering, Margie invites us into an exploration of breath, sound, and rhythm as pathways back to presence.
Through playful rhythm, shared sound, and guided breathing, we gently reconnect with our natural flow. There is space here for curiosity and lightness — to experience sound not as performance, but as something alive, communal, and even joyful.
Rooted in the spirit of Open Contact, this session offers both depth and warmth: a chance to settle, to feel, and to move with rhythm in a way that supports balance, connection, and a sense of aliveness — together.
Our Facilitator
Since 2016, Margie started her music journey to various cities around the world, such as Bali in Indonesia, Varanasi in India, Tahiti in French Polynesia, Rio de Janeiro and Bahia in Brazil, Lima and Cuzco in Peru for continuing her studies of world percussion music. Tong has been influenced by the cultures and musical styles of different countries; she resonated more deeply with the connection between music and her inner world. This also motivated her to dedicate herself to creating percussion music rich in imagery.
