Makin's path to this work began in art. He graduated with an MA in Communication Art from the Royal College of Art, and for over twenty years has practised at the intersection of art and consciousness: meditation, creative journeying, and the quiet discipline of accompanying people into non-ordinary awareness.

Nearly two years in India during COVID, meditating daily, turned that practice outward. He shifted his branding work away from commercial clients toward healers, channellers, yoga teachers and conscious startups — and today, through Makin' Multiverse, he helps them find the soul of what they do and give it a visual universe. In his own words: "If I were a healer, I would be the one doing energy elevation for brands."

That same transparency is what makes him a channel. After meeting with Tsz Lok, Makin unlocked his remembrance in channelling, he becomes a clear communicator with the fifth dimension and above: messages from the higher realms arrive through him undistorted, so what reaches you is your guides' words, not an interpretation. Many of the channelled messages shared through Open Contact come through Makin.

Alongside channelling, he works as a shamanic healer — clearing what no longer serves, retrieving what was lost, and returning the soul to wholeness. He is a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies' Three-Year Program of Advanced Initiations in Shamanism & Shamanic Healing, and he continues to deepen the work as both practitioner and lifelong learner. In gatherings, he uses guided visualisation to help participants access the unified field of consciousness; in sessions, his crystal singing bowls carry the new frequency into the body so it holds.

Makin doesn't offer answers of his own. He opens the line, holds the field, and walks alongside — so that what you hear is yours.
